One reason so many people don’t want declarations of war to be “by consent of the people” through a declaration of war is because those people don’t want to be responsible for having to make that decision. It’s as simple as that. They want to be able to blame politicians for bad decisions. They would rather be led off that cliff by “leaders” instead of making a decision to go to war or restrain themselves. Then, when Johnie doesn’t live to march home, they can say it was the politicians fault.
I trust no politician, but I believe that Ron Paul BELIEVES in freedom.But, every vote I have ever cast for any politician has only furthered the Marxist takeover of the USA. Globalization is just another method of Marxist encroachment on civil liberties. The Democrat party was taken over by the Marxist wing back in the 70s and Mitt Romney is another obvious Marxist plant in the GOP. They are called Socialist Capitolists, Leftists who profit by the labor of others. I hope Ron Paul is for real.
I’m a Catholic Conservative. However I don’t just look at the tag attached to a candidates name. I check their background. Yet i would never vote for either Rick Santorum nor Newt Gingrich. They’re both lobbyists and DC sellouts, and terrible Catholics. (Don’t mean to judge). Romney….How could you not know everything about his record. He’s been flonting it in everyones’ face since this started. Paul has platforms i’ve always supported and will continue to support. -Nick.
