Visit the official Mahalo page: www.mahalo.com On Thursday May 26, 20011, Republican Mitt Romney informed the country he would announce his bid for the presidency. The former Massachusetts governor is scheduled to make the official announcement while in New Hampshire on Thursday, June 2. This revelation comes after Romney spent the day in Chicago fundraising. After sitting down with small business owners at Gino’s East pizzeria, Romney decided to have a little fun. Not wanting any of the leftover slices to go to waste, Romney sent the remaining pies to President Obama’s Chicago reelection headquarters. A campaign source for Romney confirmed that the pizza made it to Obama’s HQ. Romney himself Tweeted a photo of a delivery boy heading out with the leftovers, writing, “Great deep dish @ginoseast. Sending the extra slices to @barackobama and his Chicago HQ team.” Shortly thereafter, Romney Tweeted, “Making it official next week at the Scamman Farm in New Hampshire.” Romney, who sought the GOP nomination in 2008 but lost to John McCain, will join a field that includes Republican Ron Paul of Texas, former Godfather’s Pizza CEO and radio talk show host Herman Cain, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty.
